Invitation to Food Innovation Network @TSP under the theme of “FUTURE FOOD: the NEXT for better life” in NSTDA Annual Conference 2016


          Innovation Network Zone presents Food Innovation Network (FIN) @ TSP Food Innovation Network at TSP presents the trend, images and functions of the food and innovation which response to the consumer needs in the future, also introduces food innovation products through 3 main activities:

FUTURE FOOD: the NEXT for better life (Location: Exhibition Hall 1stfloor, at INC2 Tower C) This exhibition displays the innovation, food prototype and technologies in 4 groups of product. 

1. Functional Food

          Some foods could be seen as medicines when the extracted vital nutrients benefit to human. New healthy foods and Food supplements are introduced in this section such as foods for diabetics: Extracted Syrup from Common Split Gill Mushroom, Extracted calcium and collagen from egg shell, and Extracted powder from Noni and Cordyceps.

2. Healthy Convenience

          This section will show the Nutrient-Rich Ready-to-eat Menus and Products designed by professional nutritionists for patients in Diabetes, Gout, Heart disease, Coronary artery disease, Osteoporosis and Brain and nervous system.

3. Smart Packaging and IT for Food 

          Nowadays, attractive packages not only can create impulsive buyers, but also can keep the freshness, cleanliness and safety for foods. This section will present the new type of packages which can extend the shelf life of fresh products and prevent the bacteria.

4. Services For Food Industry

          The quality services, such as IT Service, Standard testing Service, Technical Service, Business Service and Financial/funding Service, are provided for businesses and entrepreneurs to speed up and reduce the cost of the innovation.

The producers must show Food Allergen Composition on the labels.  Food Allergen Test Kits is an advance technology method invented by the collaboration between Morinaga Bio-Science (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Kasetsart University.
