Adopting an Open Innovation strategy by building research networks with partner organisations is essential. We cannot achieve this independently; we require specialised experts. TSP is ideally suited for this purpose, as it hosts national research centres and private companies, enabling us to benefit from a wide range of research activities. Furthermore, TSP provides extensive tools and equipment, eliminating the need for our company to invest in them independently. Consequently, being based at TSP supports us with a competitive business advantage in an ever-changing environment.

Joining TSP has given our company a reputable and credible image with our clients. The comprehensive ecosystem, including tenant companies that are key target groups, has expanded our network. Moreover, the facilities are excellent, with a pleasant and secure working environment. Most importantly, TSP has also referred clients to use our services.

If we work alone, progress is slow, and market competition is intense. We need unique products that can be developed quickly. This vision from the management of LION, which emphasises collaboration with partners, led to the establishment of the R&D centre at Thailand Science Park seven years ago. Located amidst research centres, higher education institutes, and technology companies, TSP provides an “innovative environment” that meets both research needs and unique product opportunities. We've benefited greatly from this innovation ecosystem.

Initially, our expectation for being at TSP was mainly to gain BOI benefits and to have a conducive research atmosphere. However, after being here, we saw opportunities, such as utilising various services of NSTDA, accessing unique testing facilities, and even collaborating with researchers from national centres. Having been at TSP for 5-6 years, our business trends have improved in terms of research work, leading to a more secure company based on strong R&D support.

Even though Polyplastics' factory is located in Malaysia, Thailand offers many strengths and advantages, making it an excellent choice for establishing the Asian Technical Solution Center. The company considered several locations but concluded that leasing space at Thailand Science Park was the best fit. We have been here for over 15 years. Currently, we are able to expand our support to clients not just in ASEAN, but globally.

The infrastructure and R&D facilities at Thailand Science Park are impressive, being close to national research centres and higher education institutes, offering great opportunities for joint research. The primary reason for our choice, however, is being among technology companies focused on R&D, which enhances our advantages. The innovative environment here stimulates our employees, fostering new ideas and knowledge.

System Excellent has been situated at Thailand Science Park since 2018, and we have since expanded to regional science parks. We now have six branches, serving over 3,000 clients nationwide. This underscores that being at Thailand Science Park has accelerated our growth compared to being outside. We've leveraged TSP's network to maximise benefits for our company.
