NSTDA to Organize the Annual Conference NAC 2014 Outstanding Innovations to be on the Show

Mar 12, 2014 – The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) will organize the 10th annual conference, NAC 2014, during Mar 31 to Apr 3, 2014 at Thailand Science Park, Pathum Thani province.

NSTDA’s president Dr. Thaweesak Koanantakool said NAC 2014 would be held under the theme of “Science and Technology : Driving Force for Sustainable Development” to show a variety of outstanding research projects conducted by NSTDA’s national research centers and Thailand Science Park’s private tenants.

Research highlights include the new advertising technique on motorcycle’s wheel called Wheelies; a new technology for three-dimension storytelling; and a new system for delivery of living cells, called Cell-in-a-box.
In the press conference, all the highlight projects received a lot of media attention.

Dr. Thaweesak said the event would comprise of research and development exhibitions from NSTDA, exhibitions from private sector held in Meet & Match Zone, laboratory visit, Science and Technology Job Fair, and science activities for the public.
Conferences and seminars on more than 40 topics to present the progress of science and technology development will also be the event’s highlight.

Furthermore, NSTDA will arrange areas in Meet & Match Zone to allow private sector and researchers to share and discuss ideas for further business development and research collaboration under a friendly atmosphere. Refreshment will be available in the zone.

During the event, a visit to Thailand Science Park’s new R&D renting areas in Innovation Cluster 2 (INC2) will be opened daily at 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm, and 3.30 pm.
