In the afternoon, a business matching event brought together nine Korean technology companies and over 30 Thai companies, including six TSP-based companies and two units of NSTDA.
Isri Laopirun, Assistant Marketing Manager of VPG Global, stated that “this as a great opportunity for TSP companies. We could meet potential international partners through these government-led initiatives. The event enabled discussions with two Korean companies, providing a good starting point for potential collaborations in the future in the areas of genetic testing for pets, cattle farming applications, and carbon credit solutions.”
Following the event, Dr. Sanat, the representative of TSP, spoke highly of the outcomes. “This event was a great sign of our success. TIPA and KTR, both South Korean government organizations, aim to support small businesses with the potential for international growth. What exceeded our expectations was the interest from Korean companies in signing more than 20 MOUs with Thai enterprises. Such agreements will allow Korean government agencies to work closely with the private sector, including TSP. Our TSP team is looking forward to tracking the progress of these collaborations and fostering stronger relationships with our Korean counterparts, all to help Thai tech companies expand on a global scale.”
