Thailand Science Park Signs MoU with Qianhai Ehub to Drive Thai – Chinese Startups Toward the Global Innovation Market
On 28 November 2025, Thailand Science Park (TSP), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), led by Dr. Chularat Tanprasert, Director of Thailand Science Park, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Qianhai Shenzhen–Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub (Ehub), represented by Mr. Peter Mok, General Manager of Ehub.
The signing ceremony took place during the “2025 ASEAN–CHINA GBA Economic Cooperation (Qianhai) Forum”, held at the Qianhai International Convention Center in Shenzhen, People’s Republic of China. The event was by Mr. Kachathiti Wiwattanavanon, Consul-General of Thailand in Guangzhou and Ms. WEN Ping, Deputy Director of the Administration Committee of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qianhai & Shekou Area of Shenzhen, and Deputy Director General of the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen – Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone (Qianhai Comprehensive Bonded Zone Authority), who both graciously served as witnesses to the signing.
This collaboration aims to strengthen cross-border innovation and startup development between Thailand and China, create new economic opportunities for technology entrepreneurs in both countries, and promote the exchange of innovators, researchers, and startup to enhance regional competitiveness and Asia’s innovation ecosystem
Dr. Chularat Tanprasert stated that Thailand Science Park and Qianhai Ehub have been working closely together even before this MoU. One of the key outcomes of our cooperation is Nano Coating Tech Co., Ltd., a startup member of TSP, which that became the first Thai startup accepted as a member ofto join Ehub. This milestone marks an important step in opening up new market access and establishing strategic partnerships within China’s Greater Bay Area.
Moreover, this MoU builds upon the success of the Asian Science Park Association (ASPA) Annual Conference 2025, hosted by TSP earlier in November, which brought together science park leaders from across Asia to exchange experience and ideas on developing regional innovation ecosystem. The partnership with Qianhai Ehub reflects our shared vision to foster sustainable startup growth, expand business networks, and co-create a stronger innovation-driven economy across
Mr. Peter Mok stated that "This landmark MOU with TSP establishes a crucial innovation corridor between our ecosystems. By leveraging Ehub's dynamic market in the Greater Bay Area and TSP as the world-class research hub, we are creating a powerful platform to de-risk and accelerate cross-border startup expansion and technological collaboration."
This partnership marks another milestone in strengthening TSP’s international network and reaffirms NSTDA’s role in connecting Thailand’s research and innovation with global markets, driving the nation’s transition toward a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
