Thailand Science Park Accelerates TECO FlexShield to Global Recognition at Geneva Innovation Awards

On 7 July 2025, Thailand Science Park (TSP), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), celebrated the global success of T.A.S. Corporation Co., Ltd., a member company of the park’s innovation ecosystem, whose breakthrough product TECO FlexShield was honoured at The 50th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, held in Geneva, Switzerland.
Dr. Sanat Wongtaweetong, Deputy Director of Thailand Science Park, delivered the welcome remarks at the press conference and emphasized that “The role of a science park goes beyond providing space or basic facilities. We act as an innovation accelerator, helping companies sharpen their technological capabilities, build strategic networks, and ultimately compete on the global stage.”
He added that TECO FlexShield exemplifies a technology-driven innovation developed with sustainability at its core — integrating scientific knowledge with environmental responsibility. The product not only received an award at Geneva, but also won a special prize from an organisation in Saudi Arabia, as well as the NRCT Special Award from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).
The NRCT has long played a key role in identifying and promoting high-potential Thai innovations onto international platforms, including the prestigious Geneva Exhibition. This 50th edition featured inventors from around the world and upheld stringent evaluation criteria, making any award a strong testament to the quality and global competitiveness of the recipient.
Beyond this national-level support, TSP’s strategic involvement — from technical consultation and access to expert networks, to innovation readiness planning — was a key catalyst in preparing the company for international exposure.
“As we see it, winning a world-class award is never a coincidence. It’s the result of a robust innovation ecosystem that works seamlessly from research to market. Our job at the science park is to ensure that ecosystem performs at its best,” Dr. Sanat concluded.
