Thailand Science Park welcomed a delegation from Germany for an exchange focused on science park development, innovation ecosystems, technology transfer, and startup collaboration, with the aim of strengthening connections and exploring future opportunities between the innovation ecosystems of Thailand and Germany.
The delegation brought together representatives from Germany’s science, innovation, and startup community, including Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, betahausX, AsiaBerlin, Science & Startups Berlin, RESEARCHPRENEURS, the German Embassy Bangkok, and the German Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC).
The program began with an introduction to Thailand Science Park and its role within Thailand’s innovation ecosystem, followed by an exchange on technology licensing and technology transfer. Discussions highlighted the importance of connecting research capabilities, technology, industry, and entrepreneurial communities to support innovation and commercialization.
A key part of the visit was the introduction of the TSP Scale X Landing Program, an initiative designed to connect international startups with Thailand’s innovation ecosystem and opportunities in Thailand and ASEAN, while also supporting Thai startups seeking pathways to international markets.
The program also included visits to the Thailand Bioresource Research Center (TBRC) and the TSP Scale X Landing Program facilities, providing the delegation with a closer look at research infrastructure and startup support available within Thailand Science Park.
The exchange created an opportunity to build connections between organizations across both ecosystems and explore potential areas for future startup exchange, innovation collaboration, technology commercialization, and international market access.
The visit represents another step in Thailand Science Park’s efforts to strengthen international innovation networks and create connections between Thailand and global innovation ecosystems.
