During 18-21 May 2009, Thailand Science Park (TSP) in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), organized Thailand Pavilion at the 2009 BIO International Convention in Atlanta .

Thailand 's participation in Bio 2009 Atlanta aimed at attracting investment and collaboration in bio-business sector. BIO 2009 were participated by more than 14,000 attendees from all over the world.              

Thailand was among 22 countries taking part in the International R&D Presentations. Thailand 's presentation focused on “Building up research capacity for win-win partnerships: Bioprospecting in Thailand ”.
